Venezia Terminal Passeggeri S.p.A., founded in 1997 by the Port Authority to improve the passenger activity in the Port of Venice, promotes the 2010 edition of the Venice Historical Regatta, the magnificent historical procession on the Grand Canal consisting of splendid boats complete with hundreds of figures in brocade costumes. Even now the Regata Storica is one of the most spectacular, picturesque and moving events of Venetian life, capable of both charming the tourists and exciting the locals

The personal exhibition of the Venetian artist is included within the initiative ‘Summer of Arts – The Art exhibition of the cruising season”.
This initiative, promoted by VTP, turns on the searchlights on the protagonists of the contemporary arts thanks to a cycle of exhibitions organized every year. Twelve canvas and one sculpture, having as leading thread the travel and the Mediterranean Sea. The Masterpieces will be exhibited at Terminal 107 – first floor until to October 15th 2010.

The best of the Murano Glass works ‘Vetro Artistico®’ will be exhibited for some months at the Passenger Port of Venice. The exhibition organized by Consorzio Promovetro and the ‘Regione del Veneto’ in cooperation with Venezia Terminal Passeggeri and entitled “The breath of the Sea, the Breath of the Glass” presents 20 pieces of Murano glass producers concessionaries of ‘Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark’ inspired to the sea world.
The ‘Marittima’ cruise facility of S. Basilio renamed Terminal S. Basilio
News for the Passenger Port of Venice. The S.Basilio ‘Marittima’ cruise facility, accommodating medium-size cruise ships, mega-yachts and high speed hydrofoils, has been renamed Terminal S. Basilio. The Port Authority has placed on the roof of the building the signals with the new name with the intention to rationalize the current situation separating the S. Basilio area from the ‘Marittima’ Basin.
