Directions to Cruise Terminals – Marittima
BY CAR
From turnpike A13 direction “Bologna to Padova”:
– Go ahead the tollgate ‘Padova Zona Industriale’ and follow the road signals to Venezia A57
– After the tollgate “Mestre – Villabona” (Venezia-Mestre) take the first exit on your right immediately and follow the road signals to Venezia.
From turnpike A4 direction “Milano to Trieste”:
– Go ahead the tollgate ‘Padova Est’ and follow the road signals to Venezia A57
– After the tollgate “Mestre – Villabona” (Venezia-Mestre) take the first exit on your right immediately and follow the road signals to Venezia.
From turnpike A4 direction “Trieste to Milano”:
– Go ahead the tollgate “Noventa di Piave” and follow the road signals to Venezia, then go ahead to the Mestre bypass, take the exit “PORTO” and follow the road signals to Venezia.
– Take the Mestre overpass and go on following the road signals to Venezia.
– Cross the “Ponte della Libertà”, causeway connecting Venezia to the mainland.
– At the end of the bridge at the first traffic light turn to your right.
– Go ahead for 200 meters downhill up to the Stop sign. In front of you, you will see the entranceway to the Port of Venice indicated by the sign of the “Autorità Portuale di Venezia – Venezia Terminal Passeggeri S.p.A”. Enter the Port area and follow the instructions below:
– for Terminals n.107/108, n.103, n.117, Terminal Isonzo and VTP’s offices (Building n.248) – A the end of the Ponte della Libertà turn right at the first traffic lights. Go straight for 200 meters till the stop sign. At the roundabout take the second exit, before you you will see the entranceway to the Port of Venice.

FROM THE AIRPORT
The Venice Marco Polo Internationl Airport is only 13 km far away from the lagoon city.
Reach the Port of Venice by:
– Taxi cab (about a 20 minutes ride)
– Water taxi (about a 60 minutes trip)
– Water Shuttle (about 80 minutes trip)
– Public bus arriving in Piazzale Roma, nearby the Port of Venice. (about 20 minutes trip)
FROM THE RAILWAY STATION
From Mestre Railway station (10 km far away from Venice) the Port of Venice can be reached by:
– Taxi cab (about a 10 minutes ride)
– Public bus arriving in Piazzale Roma, nearby the Port of Venice.
From St. Lucia Railway Station (Venice Historical Center):
– Public water buses (vaporetti) to P.le Roma (1 stop) where is possible to catch the People Mover (see below) or take a taxi cab (see further instructions from P.le Roma)
– Water taxi directly to cruise terminals.
FROM PIAZZALE ROMA
Piazzale Roma is the only part of the city of Venice that can be reached by car. Here information point for public bus and vaporetti, as well as taxi station and guarded parking areas are available.
The cruise and ferry terminals can be reached by:
– People Mover (3 minutes trip). This new public transportation system made of a land funicular, thanks to regular connections guaranteed from 7 AM to 11 PM with a current frequency of 8 minutes, allows to reach ‘Piazzale Roma’ and vice versa in less than 3 minutes. A shuttle bus service is available to connect the terminals 117, 123, Isonzo1 and 2 with the People Mover stop.
