Fabrizio Spagna: Chairman and Managing Director of Venezia Terminal Passeggeri S.p.A.

Chairman and Managing Director of Venezia Terminal Passeggeri (from April 2019 and from June 2022 respectively) Fabrizio Spagna born in Venice on 18 March 1965.

He was awarded a Degree in Economics at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 1992 where he then specialised in Quantitative Finance; since 2001 he has been Assistant Professor of Corporate Financial Risk Management in the Statistics Faculty of the University of Padua.

He started his career in 1993 as Senior Financial Analyst and in 1995 he founded the financial services company Axia Financial Research of which he was President until 2017.

He built his expertise by holding several different positions in companies such as Finser S.p.A., Classica SIM S.p.A., Dual Risk Management S.p.A., Centro Intermodale Adriatico S.p.A.; in March 2017 he was appointed President of Veneto Sviluppo S.p.A., the Veneto Region’s development agency, a position that he still holds today. From November 2017 he is also President of FVS SGR Spa.

He has participated in the Veneto Regional Observatory on Credit, the Governing Board of GEI (Gruppo Economisti di Impresa) and the Consulting Committee of Fondo Sviluppo PMI Fund; he has been a registered journalist in the Veneto Region since 2006 and is the author of several expert publications.
